Agnes Marcella Chamberlain, of Hammond, Indiana, formerly of Crocker, was born on September 10, 1923, in Hammond, Indiana, a daughter of Jacob Henry and Mary Ann (Jordon) Hartman and departed this life at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at her residence in Hammond. Mrs. Chamberlain had attained the age of 95 years, 3 months and 16 days.

Mrs. Chamberlain was united in marriage on June 12, 1965, at Gary, Indiana to Rubert R. Chamberlain. She was preceded in death by her husband on December 13, 2008; her parents, Jacob and Mary Ann; three grandchildren, Robbie Eichensehr, Nancy Eichensehr and Josh Jewett and her brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Chamberlain was a long time member of the St. Cornelius Catholic Church, Crocker and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Crocker. She and her husband were owner and operators of an electronic technician shop in St. Robert and Crocker. Mrs. Chamberlain loved to fish and crochet.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Chamberlain include: her children, Roger and Bonnie Chamberlain and Terry and Lisa Augustyn, all of Crocker; Gerald Chamberlain, Blue Eye; David and Kitty Chamberlain, Louisville, Kentucky; Philip and Mitzie Augustyn, St. Robert and Nancy and Gerald Eichensehr, Hammond, Indiana; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends.
