Albert David Helms, of Lebanon, was born on September 21, 1936, at Crocker, a son of Arthur Clarence and Grace Elmyre (McKinnon) Helms and departed this life at 3:35 a.m., Friday, April 27, 2018, in the Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Osage Beach. Mr. Helms had attained the age of 81 years, 7 months, and 6 days.

Mr. Helms was preceded in death by his father in May of 1977; his mother on January 30, 2011; one grandson, Eric Torrez; one brother, David Helms; two sisters, Louise Peterson Anderson and Alfreda Routh.

Mr. Helms was a United States Navy veteran and had worked for W.C. Bradley Company as a sales representative for outdoor equipment and furniture. He especially enjoyed the sales of all types of bar-b-que grills.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Helms include: his son, Aaron Helms, Lebanon; his daughter, Vickie Torrez, state of Colorado; two brothers, Joseph Helms and his wife, Audrey, Los Angeles, California and Art Helms and his wife, Barbara, Crocker; two sisters, Veda Holyfield, state of Louisiana and Mary Ann Gelven, Bonnets Mill; and many other relatives and friends.

A Memorial service will be held for Mr. Helms on Saturday, May 5, 2018, from 1 – 3 p.m., in the Crocker Senior Center, 205 North Commercial St, Crocker.
