Angela Kay Sherrell, of Dixon, was born on September 14, 1960, in Pulaski County, a daughter of Charles William and Pauline Emma (Watson) Sherrell and departed this life at 11:10 a.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at her mother's home near Dixon. Angie had been in failing health for the past few months and had attained the age of 59 years, 6 months and 10 days.

Angie had worked as a clerk for the Department of Employment Security and enjoyed being with family and friends.

Those left to mourn the passing of Angie include: her mother, Pauline, who died two weeks later on April 4, 2020; uncles, aunts and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Sherrell; her paternal grandparents, Charlie Lester and Cora Dale (Rollins) Sherrell and her maternal grandparents, William Claude and Emma Katy (Bacon) Watson.

Cremation was elected by the family with a private graveside service to be held at a later date in the Freedom Cemetery near Dixon.

Memorials are suggested by the family to the Freedom Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund with envelopes available at the office of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon.
