Anna Marie Steward, age 87, of Lebanon, formerly of Dixon, was born on January 28, 1938, in Clinton, Missouri a daughter of Cornelius and Laura (Bailey) Johnson and passed from this life on Saturday, January 17, 2026 in the Lebanon South Nursing and Rehab, Lebanon.

Mrs. Steward was united in marriage on June 29, 1959, at Kansas City, Missouri to Mr. William Robert Steward, Sr. who preceded her in death on April 20, 2004. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, William Steward, Jr. and Samuel Steward; one daughter, Vickie Goertz; a grandson, Robert Wilson; one brother, Howard Johnson and two sisters, Goldie Gilcrist and June VanCamp.

Mrs. Steward was baptized early in life and had been a faithful member of the First Baptist Church, Dixon until her health no longer permitted her to attend. She had worked in several factories and later as a nurse's aide. Mrs. Steward loved to embroider and play board games but most of all she enjoyed being with her family.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Steward include her daughters, Donna Yarbro, Lebanon; Rhonda Shay, Grandview and Glenda Mutrux, Glenwood, Iowa; 8 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren as well as many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of her service at 12 noon, on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home, 205 West Third Street, Dixon with Pastor Ryan Anderson, Sheppard Baptist Church, Dixon.

Interment will be in the Seaton Cemetery near Dixon under the direction of the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon.
