Barbara Ann Giordano, of Pacific, was born on April 15, 1933, at Dixon, a daughter of Claude Monroe and Evelyn Mae (Watson) Gray and departed this life at 6:58 a.m., Monday morning, January 16, 2017, in the Marymount Manor, Eureka. Mrs. Giordano had attained the age of 83 years, 9 months, and 1 day.
Mrs. Giordano was united in marriage on October 5, 1957, at Waynesville, to Joseph C. Giordano and to this union three children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 24, 1961; one son, Michael Anthony Giordano on April 24, 1961; her parents; two brothers, Charlie Gray and Edward Gray and three sisters, Francis Young, Daisy Hirt and Elsie Powers.
Mrs. Giordano was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She had driven a delivery truck for many years as well as being a loving and devoted mother, always diligent in providing for the needs of her family. Mrs. Giordano enjoyed going to the Senior Centers and in earlier years she enjoyed square dancing.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Giordano include: two daughters and one son-in-law, Debra and Dwain Haley, Pacific and Melody Reeves of the state of Ohio; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Harry and Wanda Gray, Dixon and James Bullard state of Texas; two sisters, Flossie Mendenhall, Dixon and Nancy Jones, Columbia; five grandchildren, Stuart, Cameron, Adam, Rachelle and Michael; several great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Giordano at 12:00 noon, Friday, January 20, 2017, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon with Bishop Nathan Boyce, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints officiating.
Interment was in the Dixon Cemetery under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon. Pallbearers for Mrs. Giordano were Stuart Haley, Cameron Haley, Monroe Rodabaugh, Bill Mendenhall, John Gray and Mike Powers.
