Bertha Lucille Good, of Dixon, was born on February 15, 1927, at Rocky Ford, Colorado a daughter of Robert and Mildred (Williams) Quick and departed this life at 10:07 p.m., Monday, February 17, 2020 in the Rolla Health and Rehab. Mrs. Good had been in failing health for some time and had attained the age of 93 years and 2 days.

Mrs. Good was united in marriage on February 14, 1946 at Fort Leonard Wood to Walter Lee Good and to this union, five children were born. She was preceded in her husband on October 14, 2002; two daughters, Barbara Beauchamp on November 29, 1974 and Ginger Good on October 26, 2019; and six brothers, Robert Quick, Everett Quick, Ralph Quick, Alfred Quick, Clyde Quick and Lonnie Quick.

Mrs. Good had worked in the Quarter Master Laundry at Fort Leonard Wood as well as being a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed quilting and sewing.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Good include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Danny and Judy Good, St. Charles and Walter Lee Good, Jr., Dixon; one daughter, Debbie Baker and her companion, Ed Vaill, Dixon; eight grandchildren, Terry, Mark, Jason, Tia, Devon, Lindsay, Lori and Kim; twelve great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon with the funeral service at 12:00 noon on Thursday, February 20, 2020 in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon with Pastor Jerry Dooley, Word of Life Fellowship, Dixon.

Interment will be in the Dixon Cemetery under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon. Pallbearers for Mrs. Good are Terry Good, Jason Good, Mark Good, Lindsay Buechler, Lori Benavente and Kim Baker. Honorary pallbearers are Nathan Benavente and Craig Buechler.

Memorial contributions are suggested per the wishes of the family with envelopes available at the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon.
