Obituary

Betty Jean (Burkhart) Hall, age 92, of Waynesville, was born February 11, 1933, at Miami, Oklahoma, a daughter of Clarence and Bessie Mae (Simmons) Burkhart, and passed from this life on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Phelps Health, Rolla.

At the age of two she moved to Pontiac, Michigan with her parents and sister.  When Betty was eight years old her family bought a farm on Highway T in Waynesville, Missouri, and then at the age of thirteen her family moved back to Pontiac, Michigan, where she met her husband, Arnold at the age of sixteen.

Betty was united in marriage on February 25, 1951, to Arnold Wilson Hall, Sr., at Collier Road Church by Rev. D B Pauley, and to this union eight children were born. Arnold preceded her in death on June 1, 2008.

She was baptized at the young age of eight and was faithful in her faith as long as she was able. Betty was a member of the Full Gospel Church for several years and helped in any capacity where she was needed. Her favorite pass time was visiting with family and friends.

Betty will be remembered by her family and friends for her dedication to her job helping, the elderly in their homes, while working for over ten years for Missouri Home Care.

Those left to mourn the passing of Betty include: her children, Pam Bertoldie (Tony), Barbara White, Lura Mae Ollis (Harry), Roy Hall, Arnold Hall Jr., and Barry Hall (Charity); 24 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, Arnold, she was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Bessie Burkhart; sister, Virginia;  two sons, James Arnold Hall on February 4, 2022, and Jeffery David Hall on July 9, 2013; two sons-in-law  Leonard White and Leo Roam;  three grandsons, Lenny Phillip White, Daniel Lee Hall, and Luke Arnold White; and one great grandson, Justin Edward Klein.

Visitation for Mrs. Betty Hall will be from 1:00 p.m., on Friday, November 14, 2025, until the time of her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., all in the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, 416 N. Commercial Street, Crocker.

Interment will be in Bethany Cemetery beside her loving husband, under the direction of the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.

Memorials are suggested per the wishes of the family with envelopes available at the funeral home on the day of her service or in care of Martin- Kloeppel Funeral Home, P.O. Box 700, Crocker, MO 65452.
