Betty Ruth Merideth, 92, of Crocker, was born on February 14, 1931, at St. Louis, a daughter of Homer Milton and Cora (Smith) Frazier and departed this life on Monday, April 24, 2023 in the Miller County Care Center, Tuscumbia.

Betty was united in marriage to William Dale Merideth and they shared 44 years together before his passing in 2014. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father, Homer in 1974; her mother, Cora in 1999; her brother, Bob Frazier in 2008; and two sisters, Katherine Wacther in 2014 and Grace Cox in 2022.

Betty was a baptized later in life into the Methodist church. She graduated from Crocker High School in 1948 and later began working for Boatman's Bank in St. Louis and then transferring to the bank at Fort Leonard Wood. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and had also served as Missouri State President for the auxiliary. She enjoyed fishing and painting.

Those left to mourn the passing of Betty include: her children: Wilma Jo Baker and her husband, Rocky; William "Billy" Merideth and Michael Merideth and his wife, Lisa; her brother, Bill and Katherine Frazier and her sister, Norma Howell; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m., all on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 in the Crocker Christian Church, Crocker with Larry Richardson officiating.

Interment will be in the Crocker Cemetery under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.

Memorials are suggested to the Crocker Christian Church with envelopes available at the church or the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home, Crocker.
