Beverly Smith, age 85, of Florissant, was born on March 16, 1939, at Richland, a daughter of Fred and Nila (Atwell) Brandt and passed from this life on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at her residence.

Mrs. Smith was united in marriage on June 19, 1955, at Dixon, to Donald Guy Smith, and to this union, two sons was born. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 8, 2015; a son, Norman Randall Smith in 1965 and two brothers, Jim Brandt and Terry Brandt.

Mrs. Smith was baptized early in life and was a member of the Baptist Church in  Ferguson, Missouri. She was office manager for Monumental Insurance Company in Olivette for twenty years prior to her retirement. Mrs. Smith enjoyed traveling, watching TV and being with family.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Smith include: her son, Carey Smith, Florissant; two grandchildren, Amanda Smith of South Roxanna, Illinois and Randy Smith of Florissant; three great-grandchildren, Amberlynn, Xavier and Lilly; her brother, Dana Brandt, of Rolla; her sister and brother-in-law, Valda and David Shackelford,  Rolla and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation  will be held for Mrs. Smith from 11 a.m. until the time of her service at 12 noon on Friday, July 12, 2024 in the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, 205 West Third Street, Dixon, Missouri with Pastor Eddie Joe Brandt officiating.

Interment will be in the West Fairview Cemetery near Dixon under the direction of the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon.
