Bob Burnett of Dixon, was born on March 2, 1982, in Lucedale, Mississippi, a son of Dale Linn and Connie Jean (Erkhart) Burnett and departed this life suddenly on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. Bob had attained the age of 36 years and 2 months.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Dale on July 5, 1999; his mother, Connie on August 1, 2009; his grandfather, Bob Burnett on March 26, 2002; his grandfather, W.F. Erkhart in 1977; his grandmother, Ernie Erkhart in 1981; his mother-in-law, Udora Fields on January 4, 2013; and an uncle, W.F. Erkhart, Jr. in 2013.

Bob had worked in construction for all his working life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching football and hockey, playing poker and being with his family.

Those left to mourn the passing of Bob include: his wife, Amber Fields, of the home near Dixon; his children, Kamrin Burnett, Hunter Burnett, Mason Burnett, Jackson Burnett and Keeli Burnett, all of Dixon; his grandmother and step-grandfather, Freda and Fred Tripp, Dixon; his father-in-law, Bob Fields, Rolla; two brothers, Michael Day, Jackson, Mississippi and Kristopher Burnett, Pascagoula, Mississippi; one sister, Karrie Gleen, Pearl, Mississippi; Uncles and Aunts, David Burnett, Darrell Burnett, Doug Burnett, Dennis Burnett, Darlene Jones, Diana Bivins, Denise Bursett, Jan Dees, Mike and Joyce Williams, Tammy and Roscoe Neely and Vonda Erkhart; his former wife and mother of his children, (Kamrin and Keeli), Tiera; as well as many cousins and other relatives and friends.
