Bobby Ward Hogancamp, of Dixon, was born on July 9, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois a son of W. Carey and Edith (Ward) Hogancamp and departed this life at 1:20 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in the Life Care Center of Waynesville. He had attained the age of 83 years, 5 months and 6 days.

Mr. Hogancamp was united in marriage to Sarah E. Mackey and to this union, one child was born. He was preceded in death by his wife on February 4, 2007, his father, Carey on August 8, 1972 and his mother, Edith on December 27, 2006.

Mr. Hogancamp was a member of the Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, St. Robert and was a United States Army veteran. He had attended the Valparaiso University, Indiana where he was a member of the Sigma Pi Fraternity. He had worked as a Real Estate Agent and as a dispatcher for the sheriff's department. Mr. Hogancamp was a member of the American Legion Post No. 331, St. Robert and the Kentucky Colonels.   He enjoyed reading, hunting and cooking.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Hogancamp include:  his daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Hogancamp and Raleigh Leavitt and other relatives and friends.

Interment was held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, December 21, 2020 in the Roselawn Cemetery, Bardwell, Kentucky under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon.
