Carl Edward Wright, age 68, of Crocker, was born on July 30, 1955, at Bonne Terre, a son of Donald Gene and Barbara Ann (LaChance) Wright and departed this life at 5:33 a.m., Wednesday morning, August 30, 2023 at his home in Crocker.

Mr. Wright was united in marriage at the Sweet Home Church, Crocker in April 1986 to Miss Pauline Marie Singleton. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald; his mother, Barbara; one brother, Michael Wright and one sister, Donna Wright.

Mr. Wright was baptized at the Assembly of God Church. He was a member of the MMTTPA Truck Pulling Association and enjoyed old cars, camping, traveling or just anything that involved being with his family. He was the owner and operator of his trucking company and Ed and Sons roofing company.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Wright include: his wife, Polly Wright, of Crocker; their children, Shaun (Sandy) Wright, Troy, Missouri, Travis (Brandy) Harrison, Trent (Erica) Harrison, all of Crocker and Tony (Alyssa) Wright, Lebanon; Holly (Jeffrey) Kinsley and Haley Jones all of Crocker; his twelve grandchildren, Kyle, Abby, Ivy, Ely, Ava, Laney, Kolden, Carter, Parker, Maddox, Jordan and Jaelynn and many other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held for Mr. Wright from 11 a.m. until 12 noon on Friday, September 1, 2023 in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Crocker.

Graveside services will be at 12:30 p.m., Friday, September 1, 2023 in the Antioch Cemetery near Crocker under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker with Pastor Phil Duncan, Assembly of God Church officiating. Calvin Bowling will sing "Amazing Grace" for the graveside service.

Pallbearers for Mr. Wright are Travis Harrison, Trent Harrison, Tony Wright, Ely Harrison, Jeffrey Kinsley and Matt Jones. Honorary pallbearers are Kolden Kinsley, Carter Harrison, Parker Jones, Maddox Harrison and Jordan Wright.

Memorial contributions are suggested by the family to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with envelopes available at the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home, Crocker.
