Carmen Dawe Hauck, of Dixon, was born on May 9, 1929, at Dixon, a daughter of Charles Walter and Lillian (Roberts) Dawe, and departed this life at 10:02 a.m., Monday, June 29, 2015, in the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla. Mrs. Hauck had attained the age of 86 years, 1 month and 20 days.
Mrs. Hauck was united in marriage on December 20, 1947, at Dixon, to Egland Sutton Hauck and to this union, four children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband on December 18, 2012; her father, Charles on May 23, 1968; her mother, Lillian on October 22, 1981; one brother, Charles R. Dawe on January 18, 1977; and two sisters, Colleen Howe in 2002 and Sue Pendleton on January 30, 2015.
Mrs. Hauck was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, Dixon. She enjoyed traveling, playing the piano and had taught piano lessons for many years. In fact, she played the piano this past Sunday at church. Mrs. Hauck had worked as a bookkeeper for the MFA Coop, Dixon as well as being a housewife and homemaker.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Hauck include: two sons of Dixon, Stephen (Sue) Hauck and Henry (Cathy) Hauck; two daughters, Patty (Kenneth Dee) Warnol, Dixon and Tami Hauck of Napa, California; eight grandchildren, Tara Taylor, Travis Hauck, Shannon Easterling, Ryan Warnol, Shara Willoughby, Spencer Warnol, Trevor Warnol and Nicolas Hauck-DeLeon; sixteen great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Hauck at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 2, 2015, in the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, Dixon with Pastor Bob Roberts, Joplin officiating.
Interment was in the Dixon Cemetery under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon. Pallbearers for Mrs. Hauck were Travis Hauck, Ryan Warnol, Spencer Warnol, Trevor Warnol, Nicolas Hauck-DeLeon, David Taylor, Jeramie Easterling and Taylor Willoughby.
