Carol Yvonne Stanton, 84, of Manchester, formerly of Crocker, was born on July 3, 1938, at Van Buren, a daughter of Roscoe Clarence and Zelia Jane (Sheets) Bell and departed this life on Friday, June 23, 2023 in the SSM St. Clare Hospital, Fenton.
Mrs. Stanton was united in marriage on August 4, 1979, at Buckhorn, to Mr. Robert Otto Stanton. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 16, 2014; her father on February 11, 1998; her mother on October 31, 1998 and her only sister, Barbara S. Bell on May 27, 1987.
While living in Crocker, Mrs. Stanton attended the Crocker Assembly of God Church. She worked for American Family Insurance for many years, retiring in 2010. She was a devoted housewife and homemaker, always diligent in providing for the needs of her family.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Stanton include: her sons, Barry Floyd of High Ridge and Darren Floyd of Manchester; one grandson, Lucas Christopher Byrd as well as many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held for Mrs. Stanton from 9 a.m. until the time of her service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Crocker.
Interment will be in the Eugene Cemetery next to her beloved husband and parents under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.
Memorial contributions are suggested by the family to the Donor's choice with envelopes available at the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.
