Charity Lannette Baker, of Dixon, was born on February 29, 1980, at Rolla, a daughter of Donley Walter and Judith Elaine (Glick) Baker and departed this life at 9:00 a.m., Friday, September 18, 2020 in the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics, Columbia from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Charity had attained the age of 40 years, 6 months and 19 days.

Charity was baptized at the Assembly of God Church, Dixon at a young age and had been a member of the Living Water Worship Center, Rolla where she ministered as song leader for several years. She was also a member of the band Damsel and enjoyed singing and writing gospel songs as well as being an avid photographer. Charity loved going to her children's school events and taking pictures. She was owner and operator of Photography by Charity and was known for the beautiful pictures she had taken.

Those left to mourn the passing of Charity include: her children, Braden Mahurin, Randon Mahurin, Brooke Mahurin and Bailey Mahurin all of Dixon; her parents, Don and Judy Baker, Dixon, her sister and brother-in-law, Dawnita and Kevin Rowden, Dixon; the father of her children, Jeremy Mahurin, Dixon; her grandmother, Jenny Glick, Dixon; her Godparents, Shirley West and Larry and Gloria Coleman; her former father-in-law  and mother-in-law, Randy and Jan Mahurin, Salem; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and many other relatives and friends.

Charity was preceded in death by an infant baby; her grandparents, Rennie and Thelma Baker and Ted Glick and an uncle, Rennie Joe Baker who died in Viet Nam.
