Obituary

Charles Glenn Clark, 71, of Dixon, was born on March 4, 1950 at Waynesville, a son of Eckles and Mearl Mae (Jones) Clark and departed this life at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at his residence.

Glenn was united in marriage on July 10, 1970, at St. Robert to Miss Jacqueline Olajos, and to this union, one daughter was born. He was preceded in death by his father, Eckles on June 26, 1998; his mother, Mearl on November 25, 2001; and one sister, Dorothy Sloan on November 25, 2016.

Glenn accepted the Lord as his personal savior and was baptized early in life. In the early 1980's, Glenn became owner and operator of Clark's Feed Store and Small Engine Repair in Dixon, retiring in 1998. He always enjoyed tinkering with small engines, fishing, hunting, gardening, and telling jokes.

Those left to mourn the passing of Glenn include: his daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Doug Roam; three grandsons, Jayden Roam, Jude Roam and Jaren Roam; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Ruth and Don Veasman, Morrison, Colorado and Kathleen "Kathy" Rujawitz, Dixon; nephews; nieces; special friend, Christine and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation from 10 - 11 a.m. with his funeral at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 24, 2021 in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon with Pastor Scott Ballard, Assembly of God Church, Dixon officiating.

Interment will be in the West Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon. Pallbearers for Glenn are Jayden Roam, Jude Roam, Hayden Yoakum, Jeff Rujawitz, Derek Sloan and James Rujawitz. Honorary pallbearers are Kurt Sloan, Jaren Roam, Randy Doyle and Drake Rujawitz.
