Chester Dean Moore, of Crocker, was born on October 20, 1931, at Crocker, a son of Floyd and Lola M. (Boulware) Moore and departed this life at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018, in the Life Care Center of Waynesville. Mr. Moore had attained the age of 86 years, 3 months, and 14 days.
Mr. Moore was united in marriage on April 23, 1955, at Crocker to Shirley Lee Campbell. He was preceded in death by his wife on March 22, 2015; his parents and one brother, Clyde Moore.
Mr. Moore was a member of the Christ's Mission Church of St. Robert. He was a United States Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Moore had worked as a dry waller and enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, was an avid hunter and enjoyed gardening.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Moore include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory and Charlotte Moore and Mark and Sandy Moore, all of Crocker; one daughter and son-in-law, Teri and Bob Leinbaugh, Crocker; one brother and sister-in-law, Clinton and Betty Moore, Crocker; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Eileen Chapman, Eldon and Wanda and Bill Walters, Crocker.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, April 22, 2018
