Clifton "Cliff" Lee Jones, Jr., of Crocker, was born on October 4, 1964, at Waynesville, a son of Clifton Lee, Sr. and Roberta Jean Decker, and departed this life at 8:10 a.m., Thursday, May 30, 2013, at his residence in Crocker. Mr. Jones had attained the age of 48 years, 7 months, and 26 days.
Mr. Jones was baptized at Hawkeye Baptist Church and was a member of the Crocker Christian Church. He had worked as a truck driver and at the time of his passing was a store room manager at EDP, ENT, Fort Leonard Wood. Mr. Jones loved baseball, races, hunting, fishing and being with his family.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Jones include: one son, Brett Jones, Crocker; one daughter, Jessica Buchka, Richland; his mother, Roberta Jones, Camdenton; his former wife, Jenny Jones, Crocker; two brothers, Jerry Bowles and Lewis Bowles, both of Crocker; two sisters, Pam Smith, Crocker and Debra Bowles, Camdenton; three grandchildren, Gracelynn, Savannah and Zanen; special aunt, Helen Boren, Crocker; and many other relatives and friends.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his father on August 18, 2011.
Funeral services were conducted for Mr. Jones at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 3, 2013, in the Concord Christian Church near Crocker, with Bro. Lee A. Todd, officiating.
Interment was in the Concord Cemetery near Crocker under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home, Crocker. Pallbearers for Mr. Jones were Tim (Coach) Hardesty, Robert Page, Jarrett Reedy, Jerry Ellis, Chris Layman and Bobby Walters. Honorary pallbearers were James Maher, James Reedy, Jacob Reedy and Lewis Bowles, Jr.
