Clifford Edward Robertson, Sr., of Vienna, formerly of Dixon, was born on March 6, 1942, at Dixon (Mungy Holler), a son of Granvil Lee and Ella Irene (Adams) Robertson and departed this life at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, August 8, 2020 at his residence. Clifford had attained the age of 78 years, 5 months and 2 days.

Clifford was united in marriage at Dixon on September 5, 1964, to Miss Virginia Sue Huffman and to this union, three children were born. He was preceded in death by his father, Granvil on April 29, 1973; his mother, Ella, on January 7, 1979; three brothers, Gene Robertson in 1960; Dean Robertson in 1990 and Fred J. Robertson in 2020 and three nieces, Barbara, Cathy and Debbie Robertson.

Clifford was a member of the Union Hill Baptist Church. He had worked at Brown Shoe Company until it closed and then worked for the Jefferson City Correction Center, retiring in 2005. He was an avid hunter, especially deer hunting and coon hunting. His passion was his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Those left to mourn the passing of Clifford include: his wife, Virginia Robertson, Vienna; his children, Tina (Robert) Leavell, Vienna; Sherry Robertson Aaron (Gary Martin), Dixon and Clifford Jr. (Mary) Robertson, Washington; six brothers, Austin Robertson, St. Louis; Raymond Robertson, New Haven; George (Dorothy) Robertson, Vienna; Paul (Shirley) Robertson, Bourbon; Bobby Robertson, Dixon and Benny (Jan) Robertson, Holts Summit; two sisters, Helen Bax, Jefferson City and Betty Hartley, St. James; eight grandchildren,  Cole (Savanna) Robertson; Cory (Mindy) Alexander; Jessica (Kevin) Moore; Jennifer Aaron; Kaylee (Samuel) McKinney; Johnny Aaron; Jakob Robertson and Caden Robertson; eight great-grandchildren, Addison, Brooklyn, Cole, Jr., Cory, Jr.,  Amelia, Abbigail, Braxton and Graham and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held for Clifford from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., all on Saturday, August 15, 2020 in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon, with Pastor Adam Duncan officiating.

Interment will be in the Kenner Cemetery near Dixon under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon. Pallbearers for Clifford will be Cole Robertson, Johnny Aaron, Jakob Robertson, Caden Robertson, Ryan Herman, Samuel McKinney, Kevin Moore and John Aaron. Honorary pallbearers are Randall White, Jessica Moore, Kaylee McKinney, Jennifer Aaron, Savanna Robertson, Madison Mayall, Beth Humphrey and Jimmy Parker.
