MR. CLYDE JAMES QUICK

Clyde James "Jim" Quick, of Dixon, was born on March 28, 1947, at St. Louis, a son of Clyde Eugene and Genevieve Louise (Helton) Quick and departed this life at 12:53 p.m., Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at his residence in Dixon. Jim had attained the age of 65 years, 3 months and 12 days.

Jim was preceded in death by his father on September 20, 1998. He had worked with his father in the family owned business as an iron worker. Jim enjoyed Bingo, computers and fishing.

Those left to mourn the passing of Jim include: his mother, Genevieve Quick, Dixon; one son, Patrick James Quick, Granite City, Illinois; two grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

A graveside memorial service and interment was held for Jim at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 13, 2012, in the Southside Cemetery, Meta with Pastor Helen Winters, Seaton Faith Fellowship Church, Dixon, officiating.
