Cynthia Jane Cobb, of Dixon, was born on December 3, 1942 at Salinas, California a daughter of Albert and Juanita (Thompson) Beesinger and departed this life at 1:33 p.m., Friday, September 13, 2019 in the Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis. Mrs. Cobb had been in failing health for some time and had attained the age of 76 years, 9 months and 10 days.
Mrs. Cobb was united in marriage on December 10, 1961, at Reno, Nevada to Mr. J.C. Cobb. She was preceded in death by her husband on March 13, 2002; one son, David Charles Cobb on August 14, 2009; one sister, Francine Nieblas and one granddaughter, Roxanne Michelle Monroe.
Mrs. Cobb had attended the Lighthouse Worship Center near Dixon. She had owned and operated a restaurant as well as owning rental properties. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing Farmville, raising goats and spending time with her family.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Cobb include: her son, James Cobb, Dixon; two daughters, Cindy Carroll, Hallsville and Francine Nieblas, Dixon; seven grandchildren, Mara Cobb, Rex Monroe, Mindy Monroe, James Cobb, John Monroe, Cassandra Cobb and Brayden Moore; and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation for Mrs. Cobb will be held from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. with the Memorial service at 1:00 p.m., all on Saturday, September 28, 2019 in the Lighthouse Worship Center near Dixon with Pastor Lloyd Mattocks officiating.
Interment will be in the Wheeler Cemetery near Dixon.
