Dale Arthur Campbell, age 76, of Dixon, was born on May 18, 1948, at Dixon, a son of Naith and Pearl Catherine (Baker) Campbell and passed from this life on Thursday, February 13, 2025 in the Phelps Health, Rolla.
Dale was united in marriage on March 14, 1988, at Dixon, to Susan Kay Crossland. He was preceded in death by his father, Naith on July 5, 1987; his mother, Pearl on February 20, 2013 and his brother, Earl D. Campbell.
Dale was a 1966 graduate of the Dixon R-1 High School and entered active federal service in the United States Air Force on January 10, 1967 where he served until his honorable discharge on October 1, 1968 at the rank of Airman Basic. A man of excellent character, Dale's "Honorable Discharge" is a testimony of selfless and faithful service to his country. He later worked in construction and for several years was employed in the Supply Room at Fort Leonard Wood, retiring in 2005. Dale had been a member of the Broken Arrow Club, Dixon, and enjoyed making knives.
He was baptized early in life and at the time of his passing was a member of the Freedom Church in Dixon.
Those left to mourn his passing include: his wife of 37 years, Susan of the home; children, Nathan Campbell, Temple, Texas; Tammy Kelley, Dixon; Robert Hatmon, Laquey; Kenneth Beam, Jr., Waynesville; and Peggy Sides, Lebanon; six grandchildren; Nick, Bobby, Ashley, Hayden, Weston, and Kenner; five great-grandchildren: Collyn, Wyatt, Gunner, Lily and Oaklynn; sisters, Sandra (Charles) Fann, Kansas; and Cathy (DeWayne) Brown, Dixon; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Dale will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Freedom Church, 105 West Second Street, Dixon, Missouri 65459, with his funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. in the church, with Pastor Shelby Barnhart officiating under the direction of Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon. Military honors will follow at the church.
Interment will be in the Dixon Cemetery. Pallbearers for Dale will be Nathan Campbell, Weston Campbell, Hayden Campbell, Kenner Campbell, Robert Hatmon, and Kenny Beam, Jr.
Memorial contributions in memory of Dale are suggested by his family to Tunnels to Towers, with envelopes available at the church on the day of his service or in care of Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, P.O. Box GG, Dixon, Missouri 65459.
