Dale Edward Saunchegrow, age 72, of Dixon, was born May 6, 1952, at Dixon, a son of Clarence and Leona Saunchegrow, and passed from this life on May 18, 2024, in Phelps Health, Rolla.

He was united in marriage on March 4, 1972, at Dixon, to the former Miss Mary Kathleen Brandt, and to this union, two daughters were born.

Dale was a member of the First Baptist Church, Dixon, and had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and had followed his Lord in baptism while attending there. He was also a member of the Arlington Masonic Lodge No. 346, A.F. & A.M., Dixon and the Carpenters Local 2298, Rolla. Dale was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting coins and Case knives, going to gun shows, and spending time with his family.

During his working life, Dale was a union carpenter until his retirement in 2011.

Those left to mourn the passing of Dale include: his loving wife of 52 years, Kathy, of the home near Dixon; his two daughters, Sherri Ray and husband, Donnie, and Michelle Flaugher and husband, Michael, all of Dixon; four grandchildren, Ashley, Mirissa, Haley and Avery and one great-grandson, Holden; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; and many other relatives and friends.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Leona Saunchegrow; his father and mother-in-law, Frank and Lorene Brandt; and one granddaughter, Mikayla Sherrell.

Visitation for Mr. Dale Saunchegrow will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Noon, Thursday, May 23, 2024, in the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home Chapel, 205 West Third Street, Dixon, MO 65459, with his Masonic service and funeral service following at 12 Noon, with Pastor Eddie Brandt officiating.

Interment will be in the West Fairview Cemetery, Dixon, under the direction of Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon.
