Dale Strutton, of Crocker, was born on March 25, 1959 at Fort Polk, Louisiana a son of Gerald and Toyoko (Kanamori) Strutton and departed this life at 9:10 a.m., Tuesday morning, August 18, 2020 at the Phelps Health in Rolla. Dale had attained the age of 61 years, 4 months and 24 days.

​     Dale was united in marriage on December 16, 1978, at Crocker, to Elizabeth Mae Wall and to this union, three children were born.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald on January 22, 1986; his mother, Toyoko on June 29, 2009; his sister, Akemi Massey on September 9, 2019 and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth P. Strutton on July 22, 2020.

​     Dale was baptized in 2006 and at the time of his passing was a member of the Hilltop Christian Union Church, Crocker and the National Rifle Association. He worked for Diamond Pet Foods in Meta, loading trucks. Dale enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on his land and driving his tractor.

​     Those left to mourn the passing of Dale include: his wife, Becky Strutton, Crocker; two sons Damien Strutton (Kayla) of Crocker and Darin Strutton (Amber) of Republic; one daughter, Devon Plemmons of Holden; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Dana "Danny" Strutton (Laura) of St. Anthony; Dean Strutton (Wanda) of  Crocker and Don Strutton of Russellville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Aleta McEneney (Phil) of Stover and Jackie Proctor (Tim) of Crocker; ten grandchildren, Jordan, Anthony, Natalie, Kaitlyn, Seth, Gavin, Chelsea, Weston, Bennett and Colt; one great-grandchild, Tatum and many other relatives and friends.

​     Visitation from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m with the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 21, 2020 in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Crocker with Bro. Bill Claiborn, Hilltop Church officiating.

​     Interment in the Zion Cemetery near Crocker under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker. Pallbearers for Dale are Damien Strutton, Darin Strutton, Dean Strutton, Danny Strutton, Don Strutton and Anthony Plemmons. Honorary pallbearers are Ryan Newton, Tim Proctor and Justin Rogers.

​     Memorial contributions are suggested by the family to the Zion Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund with envelopes available at the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.
