Danny Dean Baker, age 74, of Rolla, formerly of Dixon, was born on August 6, 1951, at Dixon, a son of Wilburn Winford and Ida Fae (Woody) Baker and passed from this life on Saturday night, May 23, 2026 at his residence in Rolla.

Danny was united in marriage on June 18, 1971, at Dixon, to Miss Angela Rena Alexander and to this union, four children were born. He was preceded in death by his wife, Angela on December 10, 2019; his father, Wilburn on April 25, 1978; his mother, Fae on April 10, 2005; one great-grandchild, Huntleigh Joelynn Robertson on May 9, 2022; his sister, Pamela Alexander on September 23, 1993 and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Luther and Caroline Alexander.

Danny had worked as a mechanic for Westinghouse, Jefferson City, until his retirement. He was baptized early in life and had been a member of both the Dixon and Rolla Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, doing woodwork, working on the kids' cars, and being with his grandchildren.

Those left to mourn the passing of Danny include: his children, Terry (Kimberly) Baker, Rolla; Dustin (Natalie) Baker, Republic, Tina Tegart and her fiancé, Ben Grant, Rolla and Courtney Nivens, Rolla; twelve grandchildren, Regan Baker, Marissa McCall, Nick (Payton) Robertson, Emily (Dustin) Bush, Tucker Robertson, Landon Baker, Mason Baker, Colson Baker, Gracey Nivens, Cassidy Nivens, Bentlee Nivens and Joel Nivens; one great-grandchild, Danny Dean Robertson with two expected in the near future; and one brother-in-law, Dariel Alexander, Dixon as well as many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held for Danny on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 5 – 7 p.m. and from 9 – 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2026, with his funeral following at 10 a.m. all in the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon with Billy Johnson officiating.

Interment will be next to his beloved wife, Angela, in the Seaton Cemetery near Dixon under the direction of the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon. Pallbearers for Danny will be Nick Robertson, Tucker Robertson, Dustin Bush, Brandon Overshon, Shawn Alexander and Ben Grant. Honorary pallbearers will be Bentlee Nivens, Colson Baker, Landon Baker, Mason Baker, Danny Dean Robertson, Ethan Overshon, Kory Medley, Landon Cook and Dariel Alexander.
