Dennis Virgil Beasley, of Dixon, was born on August 21, 1955, at Waynesville, a son of Robert and Emily (Woolsey) Beasley and departed this life at 10:34 a.m., Saturday, August 3, 2019 in the Life Care Center of Waynesville. Dennis had been in failing health for some time and had attained the age of 63 years, 11 months and 13 days.

Dennis was united in marriage on June 6, 1976, at Dixon to Dianne Stokes and to this union, three children were born. He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters, Ozell Woolsey, Linda Peglow, Sheila Vosylius and infant, Cleo.

Dennis had worked for Brown Shoe Company, Dixon until it closed. He later went to work at Quaker Window Products, Freeburg for over 20 years. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing poker, pool, golfing and hunting. His greatest love was his family and spending time with them.

Those left to mourn the passing of Dennis include: his wife, Dianne Beasley, Dixon; two sons, Eric Beasley and Nathan Beasley, both of Dixon; one daughter, Shelby Beasley, Rolla; three grandchildren, Darian Beasley, William Carter and Kaiden Carter; one brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Andrea Beasley, Dixon; one sister, Tammy Beasley, Dixon; his sister-in-law, Sherry Simpson and her husband, Keith, Cuba and brother-in-law, Troy Stokes, Dixon; numerous nephews; nieces and many other relatives and friends.

Honorary pallbearers for Dennis will be Eric Beasley, Nathan Beasley, Darian Beasley, Mike Beasley, Troy Stokes, Randy Alexander, George Batty, Jeff Ridgeway and Curt Hunt.
