Dennis Wayne George, 72, of Richland, was born on February 22, 1950, in Pulaski County, a son of Ralph Tinison and Dora Elizabeth (Gross) George and departed this life at 4:28 a.m., on Sunday, October 30, 2022 in the Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach.

Dennis had attended Swedeborg School and the Swedeborg Baptist Church when he was a young boy. He always kept busy either mowing lawns, cutting wood or fixing fence and enjoyed helping others in any way he could. Dennis enjoyed visiting with everyone and having breakfast at the Wagon Wheel every day.

Those left to mourn the passing of Dennis include: his siblings, Claus George, Crocker; Junior George, Sedalia; Rose Mary Smith, St. James; Judy Marshall, of Omaha, Nebraska and Janet George of Eldon, as well as cousins, and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph on June 20, 2000; his mother, Dora on July 28, 2000 and two brothers, Larry George on January 14, 2016 and Donald George on August 22, 2016.

A graveside service will be held for Dennis at 11 a.m., on Thursday, November 10, 2022 in the Crocker Cemetery.
