Ralph Dewayne Ransome, of Crocker, was born on June 30, 1962, in Fresno, Fresno County, California, a son of Ralph Albert Ransome and Lela Dee (Pierce) Underwood, and departed this life at 11:40 a.m., Friday, December 7, 2012, at Crocker. Dewayne had attained the age of 50 years, 5 months and 7 days.

Dewayne was preceded in death by his father in 2005; his mother in 1982; a nephew, Randy Ransome in July 2012 and his sister-in-law, Pamela Ransome in 2005.

ewayne loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He loved to fish, work on cars and had a love for motorcycles. He was the handy man of the family and will be dearly missed.

Those left to mourn the passing of Dewayne include: two daughters, Amber Ransome and Sarah Ransome, both of Crocker; four grandchildren, Jeffery Franklyn, Joshua Ransome, Cali Ransome, Gracie Ransome Rodden and a granddaughter on the way; two brothers, James Ransome, St. Robert and Dennis Ransome, Crocker; one sister, Anna Elam, Swedeborg; the loves of his life, Shelly and Jane; many nephews; nieces; cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., funeral service at 1 p.m., Friday, December 14, 2012, Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Crocker
