Donald C. "Donnie" Bowling of Crocker, was born on April 26, 1950 at Waynesville, a son of Clarence Emmer and Dorothy Marie (Walters) Bowling and departed this life at 6:04 p.m., Thursday evening, September 19, 2019 at his residence. Donnie had attained the age of 69 years, 4 months and 24 days.

Donnie was a member of the Crocker Assembly of God Church; The Odd Fellows, Crocker; the Crocker Saddle Club; Crocker Booster Club; and was on the board of the Crocker Senior Center. He had worked at Fort Leonard Wood for AAFES Exchange based out of Dallas, Texas as an operations specialist, retiring from there in 1995. He then went to work as a guard for the Department of Corrections, Jefferson City retiring in 2019. Donnie enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals, playing cards, riding horses, playing golf, and supporting all of the Crocker ball teams.

Those left to mourn the passing of Donnie include: his daughter, Tracie Bowling, Crocker; five brothers, Eddie Bowling and Terry Bowling, both of Crocker, Roy Lee (Angela) Bowling, Richland, Calvin Bowling and Andy (Tammy) Bowling, all of Crocker; three grandchildren, Jayse Skaggs, Kanon Bowling and Daylynn Bowling and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ginger Skaggs on January 8, 2018; his father, Clarence, October 30, 2001; his mother, Dorothy on March 19, 1993 and his former wife, Lynne Cassidy Bowling on May 29, 2017.
