Donnie Thomas, 72, of Dixon, died Sunday, June 26, 2016, in the Missouri Veterans Home, St. James.

Born February 8, 1944, at Medford, Oregon, a son of Luther C. and Virginia L. (Spargur) Thomas.

Married March 11, 1994, at Las Vegas to Joyce Beal

A United States Navy veteran. He was owner/operator of Dixon Auto Parts for over 30 years.

His mother, Virginia Thomas, Waynesville;
3 daughters, Debbie Thomas and Donna Cottrell, both of Waynesville and Amanda (Monty) Cornelison, Rogers, Arkansas;
1 sister, Beverly (Robert H., Sr) Stroud, Atlanta, Georgia;
4 grandchildren, Danielle, George, Angelica and Logan;
1 nephew, Robert Stroud, Jr.; 1 niece, Alison Baine and her daughter, Olive

Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m., all on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon

Graveside service with full military honors at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 30, 2016 in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Waynesville.
