Donna Kay Newman, of Dixon, was born on June 20, 1954, at Peoria, Illinois, a daughter of Fredrick Eugene and Violet Daphne (Short) Newman and departed this life at 6:44 p.m., Thursday, December 21, 2017, in the Dixon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dixon. Donna had attained the age of 63 years, 6 months and 1 day.

Donna was preceded in death by her father on January 9, 2001 and her mother on July 17, 2010.

Donna had attended the First Assembly of God Church, Dixon. She enjoyed singing and crafts of all kinds, especially making floral arrangements. She was a loving and devoted homemaker, mother and grandmother.

Those left to mourn the passing of Donna include: one son, Ethan Crace, Dixon; two daughters, Amanda Soberano, Republic and Miranda Crique and her companion, Brian McKee; one brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Rose Newman, Bellevue, Illinois; one sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Jim Ernst, Bellevue, Illinois, six grandchildren, Brianna, Austin, Dakota, Evan, Arianna and Gabriela; and many other relatives and friends.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
