Dwayne Lea Vaughan, of Plattsburg, formerly of Dixon, was born on February 9, 1959, at Troy, a son of Rockford and Eleanor (Clark) Vaughan, and departed this life at 8:15 a.m., Monday, September 15, 2014, in the Liberty Memorial Hospital, Liberty. Dwayne had attained the age of 55 years, 7 months, and 6 days.

Dwayne was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ralph Vaughan and one sister, Mildred Keerans.

Those left to mourn the passing of Dwayne include: two sisters, Marie Baugher, Plattsburg and Pearl Humphrey, Dixon; nephews; nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2 - 4 p.m., on Sunday, September 21, 2014, in the American Legion Post 298, Dixon.

Private burial will be at a later date in the West Fairview Cemetery near Dixon.
