Obituary

Edith Louise Frazier, of Crocker, was born on September 16, 1929, at Richland, a daughter of Harvey H. and Myrtle (Greenstreet) Mitschele, and departed this life at 8:20 a.m., Friday, November 14, 2014, in the Lake Region Hospital, Osage Beach. Edith had attained the age of 85 years, 1 month, and 19 days.

Edith was united in marriage on May 24, 1957, at Richland, to Robert M. Frazier. She was preceded in death by her husband on November 24, 2008; her parents, Harvey and Myrtle; two sisters, Pauline Mitschele and Marie Holdren; three brothers, Tommy Mitschele, Phillip Mitschele and John "J.O." Mitschele; and one son-in-law, Larry Thornsberry.

Edith was baptized at a young age and was a lifelong member of the Elm Grove Baptist Church, Richland. In November 2004, Edith and Bob, together, rededicated their life in Christ at the Richland Baptist Church.

Edith graduated from Stoutland High School and became a medical lab technician. She furthered her career and had worked as a nurse for 30 years. Edith was always taking care of others, whether she was at work or at home, especially caring for her family. Following her retirement, Edith enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, quilting and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

Those left to mourn the passing of Edith include: one daughter, Roberta Thornsberry, Crocker; three grandchildren, Jason Thornsberry and wife, Shelly; Jamey Thornsberry and Rhonda Fritchey, Crocker and Dawn Kubinski and husband, Keith, Crocker; six great-grandchildren, Heather Barker and Kory, Taylor Thornsberry, Larra Kubinski, Kyle Thornsberry, Zachery Kubinski and Nova Fritchey; one sister-in-law, Doris Ann Mitschele of Texas; many nephews; nieces; cousins; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted for Edith at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 17, 2014, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Crocker, with Rev. Shirley Williams, First Christian Church, Eldon, officiating.

Interment was in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Richland, under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Crocker. Pallbearers for Edith were Jack Holdren, Clinton Jerome, William Robert, Alfred Zeigenbein, John Flynn, James Mitschele, Estel Becker and Brian Becker. Honorary pallbearers were Terry Mitschele, John Holdren, Allen Mitschele, Kyle Thornsberry, Zachery Kubinski, Frank Richter and James Greenstreet.

Memorials are suggested by the family to the Elm Grove Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund with envelopes available at the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation
