Erick Vincent "Indian" Robinson, age 56, of Waynesville, was born January 14, 1967, a son of a Franklin Eugene and Minnie (Perez) Robinson and passed from this life on Friday, July 7, 2023, at his residence.
Erick was a cook with EDP now known as Blackstone, Fort Leonard Wood for many years, he was a hard worker and enjoyed his co-workers. Erick was a sharp dresser, enjoyed country music, rodeos, shopping, traveling, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a friend to everyone and took great pride in his nieces and nephews. Erick always tattled on his siblings even when he was paid to keep quiet. He loved to donate to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital and always said if he ever won the lottery he would buy a toy for every child in the world.
Those left to cherish the memory of Erick include: his mother, Minnie Robinson, Crocker; his siblings, Delbert Robinson (Judy), Salem; Willie Robinson (Kelly), Osage Beach; Kevin Curtman (Sherry), Lebanon; Edward Robinson, Texas; Eunice Clark (James), South Carolina; Joey Curtman (Deidra), Buckhorn; Reba Null (Billy), Dixon; and Jay Robinson (Mackenzie), Joplin; his best friend, Richard Strutton, Crocker; numerous nephews and nieces; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin on December 16, 2015; sister, Reygena (Rey) Peterson on July 2, 2017; step-father, Larry Curtman on August 20, 2015; and niece, Brooke Robinson on May 29, 2023.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m., on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 North Commercial Street, Crocker, Missouri 65452 with Pastor Doug Jacobson officiating.
Burial will be in the Crocker Cemetery under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.
Memorials are suggested per the wishes of the family with envelopes available on the day of service or in care of Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, P.O. Box 700, Crocker, Missouri 65452.
