Frances Flora "Fran" White, of St. Ann, was born on November 9, 1920 at Dixon, a daughter of Floyd and Bertha Ann (Bilyeu) Hance, and departed this life on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, in the DePaul Hospital, St. Louis. Mrs. White had attained the age of 91 years, 10 months and 17 days.

Mrs. White was united in marriage to Edwin Thomas White and to this union two daughters were born. She was preceded in death by her husband on June 18, 1987; her father on November 28, 1965; her mother on March 2, 1986; and one brother, Lloyd Hance.

Mrs. White was baptized early in life and a member of the Church of Christ. She had worked as a secretary for BRI Corporation, retiring at the age of 70.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. White include: two daughters, Ann Willis and husband, Ron, St. Ann and Connie Haywood and special friend, Art, Long Beach, California; two grandchildren, Warren Willis and friend, Stacey Francis and Crystal Hayes and husband, Jeff; three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Lennis, Makayla and one expected in the near future; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services and interment were held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 29, 2012, in the Dixon Cemetery, with Bro. Jimmy Moore, Crocker, officiating.
