Francis Stanley Hancock, of Crocker, was born on August 11, 1928 in Crocker near the Gasconade River. The son of Roy and Virginia Hancock and departed this life at 11:03 am, on Saturday morning, September 28, 2019 in Pacific Care Center, Pacific MO.  Mr. Hancock had attained the age of 91 years, one month and seventeen days.

Mr. Hancock was united in marriage on December 26, 1949 to June Quesensberry and to this union, one daughter and three sons were born. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy, mother Virginia, brother Everal and an infant brother at birth.

Mr. Hancock was baptized at an early age and was a member of the Iberia Baptist Church. He was a deacon in the Baptist Church for over 20 years and served in many leadership roles within the Baptist Church. He was a welder by trade and enjoyed his family, cattle farming, hunting and fishing.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Hancock includes: his daughter, Mary Jo, of New Jersey, his son, Stan, of New Smyrna Beach, FL, his son, Steve, of St. Louis, MO, his son, Jeff, of Eureka MO, three daughters-in-law, ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Hancock will be from 10 - 11 a.m. with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 2019, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Crocker with Bro. Lee A. Todd, Concord Christian Church officiating.

Interment will be in the Mitchell Chapel Cemetery near Crocker under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.

His family has asked for donations to the Alzheimer's disease Research in lieu of flowers.
