Frank Lipscomb, of Dixon, was born on February 27, 1948 in Merced, California a son of Daniel Franklin and Nancy Lou (Davis) Lipscomb and departed this life at 10:45 a.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in the Stonebridge Senior Living, Owensville. Frank had attained the age of 72 years, 10 months, 9 days.

Frank was united in marriage on May 15, 1971, at Dixon to Brenda Faye Sherrell and to this union, two children were born. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel on February 17, 1971; his mother, Nancy on February 8, 1989; his siblings, Daniel Lipscomb, Dewey Lipscomb, Joretta Daniel and Anna Lea Lipscomb.

Frank was baptized in 1970 and was a faithful member of the Santee Community Church near Dixon where he had served as a board member for many years, he was also a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Dixon. He was owner and operator of Lipscomb Business Equipment Sales and Services in the Dixon and surrounding areas for many years. Frank enjoyed playing his guitar and singing, fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.

Those left to mourn the passing of Frank include: his wife, Brenda Lipscomb, Dixon; his children and their spouses, Shawn and Jessica Lipscomb, Dixon and Lisa and Kevin Lay, St. Augustine, Florida; four grandchildren, Tristen Lipscomb, Kinsley Lipscomb, Kendra Lay and Carter Lay; his siblings, John Lipscomb, state of California; Joe Lipscomb and wife, Wendy, state of Florida; Pauline Ernst, Rolla; Elsie Trauber, state of Idaho and Joyce Dupree, St. Robert; nephews, nieces and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held for Frank at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, January 9, 2021 in the Freedom Cemetery near Dixon with Pastor Shannon Perry, Santee Community Church officiating.

Memorial contributions are suggested by the family to the Santee Community Church.
