Franklin E. Robinson, of Crocker, was born on November 16, 1936, at Nelsonville, Ohio, a son of Luther J. and Sybil Lillian (Nichols) Robinson, and departed this life at 10:40 a.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2015, in the Life Care Center of Waynesville. Mr. Robinson had been in failing health and had attained the age of 79 years and 1 month.
Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Robinson was a retired United States Army veteran where he had operated and trained on heavy equipment for 27 years. He later was owner and operator of a dental service in Texas.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Robinson include: five sons, Delbert Robinson, state of Florida; Willie Robinson, Richland, Missouri; Edward Robinson, state of Texas; Erick Robinson, Crocker, Missouri and Anthony Robinson, Joplin, Missouri; four daughters, Rey Peterson, Crocker, Missouri; Eunice Clark, state of North Carolina; Reba Null, Dixon, Missouri and Brittney Hubbard, Geneva, Ohio; one brother, Raymond Robinson, state of Arkansas; one sister, Pat Adkins, state of Texas; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; his good friends, Kevin Curtman and Joey Curtman; and many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2016, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Fort Leonard Wood under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Crocker with Larry Richardson, Crocker Christian Church officiating.
