Gary
Broadway
Aug 15, 1944 — Aug 3, 2024
William Gary Broadway, age 79, of Rolla, was born August 15, 1944, in Ardmore, Tennessee, a son of William Howard and Marie (Merrell) Broadway, and departed this life on Saturday, August 3, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at Phelps Health, Rolla.
Gary accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and at the time of his passing was a member of Sheppard Baptist Church, Dixon.
He was united in marriage on September 24, 1965, to Bonnie Jeanne Barnes, and spent 58 years as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

A man of excellent character, Gary's "Honorable Discharge" is a testimony of selfless and faithful service to his country. Following his retirement from active duty, Gary continued to serve military veterans through the Department of Veteran Affairs. He was also a lifetime member of the VFW.
In his free time, Gary enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family. Every fall he looked forward to cheering on his beloved Crimson Tide (Roll Tide!), and the St. Louis Cardinals. Gary loved the Lord, his family, and his country.
