Gary Lee Davis, age 71 of Dixon, was born on September 16, 1955, at Waynesville, a son of Arthur and Patricia (Donaldson) Davis and passed from this life on Monday, October 5, 2026 at his residence.
Gary was united in marriage on August 11, 1979, at Dixon, to Miss Susie Ann Rose and to this union, five sons were born. He was preceded in death by his wife, Susie on August 4, 2025; his father, Arthur Davis; his mother Patricia Prater; brothers, James Davis, Troy Glover, Larry Dale Davis and David Davis.
Gary had worked as a truck driver for Blue Grass Concrete Company and also for a local moving company, Von Der Ahe vanlines. He enjoyed hunting and old cars . He loved watching old westerns and sitting outside with his French bulldog Lexi.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Gary Lee Davis include: his sons, Kevin Davis and his wife, Tina of Dixon; Jamie Davis and his wife, Mickey of St. James; Michael Davis and his wife, Melissa of Vienna; Joey Davis of Dixon and Danny Davis and his companion, Teresa of Laquey; his siblings, Randy, Mike, Norma, Sandra and Janetta; twelve grandchildren, Kyle , Dustin, Brandon, Shawn, Brianna, Austin, Dakota, Justin, Jordan, Ryan, Corey and Anna; thirteen great-grandchildren, Eliza, Abby, Olive, Skilynn, Tanner, Adi, Lilianna (Aveline), Wyatt (Faith), Rosabelle, Ledger and Oliver; three great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Following Gary’s wishes, the family elected cremation under the direction of the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon. The family will host a celebration of life in Memory of Mr. Gary Lee Davis to be announced at a later date, time and place.
Memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Gary Lee Davis are suggested per the wishes of the family with envelopes available at the funeral home or in care of the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, P.O. Box GG, Dixon, MO 65459.
