Gary Lee Doyle, of Dixon, was born on August 3, 1956, at St. Louis, a son of Bobby Gene and Joann (Wilson) Doyle, and departed this life at 9:08 p.m., Sunday, December 28, 2014, in the Rolla Health and Rehabilitation Center, Rolla. Gary had been in failing health and had attained the age of 58 years, 4 months, and 25 days.

Gary was united in marriage in August of 1997, at Crocker, to Kim A. Glawson. He was preceded in death by his father in July 1984; one son, Kenny Lee Doyle; and his grandparents, Florene A. Donnan and John and Nettie Doyle.

Gary had attended the First Pentecostal Church of Dixon and had worked as a self-employed plumber. He was a member of the Dixon Coon Club, the Crocker Coon Club and the Iberia Coon Club and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Those left to mourn the passing of Gary include: his wife, Kim A. Doyle, Dixon; his mother, Joann Doyle, Crocker; one son, Bobby Doyle, Rolla; one daughter and son-in-law, Starlet and Andrew Thomas, Kokomo, Indiana; two step-sons, Kenny Jennings and his wife, Cherie and Kevin Jennings, both of Dixon; one brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Susie Doyle, Crocker; eleven grandchildren, Alizaya, Italy, Jordan, Trusten, Gage, Destiny, Ethan, Braxton, Piper, Nathaniel and Davin; one great-grandchild, Serynity; uncles; aunts; nephews; nieces; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted for Gary at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 2, 2015, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Crocker, with Rev. Robert E. Hohman, Sr., pastor of the New Harvest Apostolic Church, St. Robert, officiating.

Interment was in the Freedom Cemetery near Dixon, under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Crocker. Pallbearers for Gary were Todd Wayne Doyle, Jr., Michael Bahr, Larry Tanner, Steve Strutton, Kelly Scharnhorst and Jody Moore. Honorary pallbearers were John Shattuck, Bobby Ray, Travis McKinnon and Tim Alexander.
