Georgia L. Davis, 67, of Crocker, was born on January 22, 1954 at Edgar Springs a daughter of Yancie George and Priscilla Fern Keeney and departed this life at 10:24 p.m., Tuesday evening, May 18, 2021 at her residence in Crocker.
Mrs. Davis was united in marriage on December 28, 1984 to Frederick Davis and to this union, two daughters were born. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 6, 2011; her parents, Yancie and Pricilla; one sister, Shirley Greer and three nephews, Colonel Thomas Cable, Jr., Joe Campbell and Daryle Campbell.
Mrs. Davis was baptized early in life by Bro. Bill Claiborn. She was a school bus driver for Waynesville Schools for over twenty year as well as an apartment manager in St. Robert. Mrs. Davis also waited tables at the Wagon Wheel restaurant until her health no longer permitted. She enjoyed camping, playing Bingo, going to the casinos, riding motorcycles, shopping and family time.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters and sons-in-law, Tammie and John Shattuck, Crocker and Melissa and Thomas Leaman, Piedmont, South Dakota; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Dalton, Amanda, Dylan, Kevin, Brittny and Scott (Spike); fourteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ray Keeney, St. Robert and Robert and his wife, Antionette Keeney, Eagan, Minnesota; one sister, Ella Campbell, Lebanon; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donnie and Stacie Durr, Shreveport, Louisiana; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and many other relatives and friends as well as her dog, Ollie.
Visitation from 5 - 7 p.m., Monday, May 24, 2021 and from 10 - 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 25, 2021 with her funeral service at 11:00 a.m., in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Crocker with Bro. Donnie Durr and Bro. D.W. Leaman officiating.
Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Estates, Waynesville next to her beloved husband, under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker. Pallbearers for Mrs. Davis are John Shattuck, Thomas Leaman, Scott Mercier, Kevin Leaman, Chris Mathis and D.W. Leaman. Honorary pallbearers are Dalton Click, Michael Ferguson and Joseph Ferguson.
Memorial contributions are suggested per the wishes of the family with envelopes available at the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.
