Helga M. Lee of Crocker, Missouri was born on February 18, 1939 at Holzwickede, Germany, a daughter of Otto Heinz and Stephanie (Kurej) Meyer, and departed this life on Friday, March 22, 2019, at her home in Crocker, at the age of 80.

Helga was united in marriage on January 5, 1963 at Baumholder, Germany to Heyward Lee, who preceded her in death as well as their infant daughter.

Helga attended the First Baptist Church of Crocker. She was a foster parent and had worked for Lois Perez at the Crocker Bar for many years as well as cooking in the restaurant of the Crocker VFW. She loved her dogs and visiting with her many dear friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include: her foster daughters, Kathy Carris, Enid, Oklahoma, Robbyn Blumenschein, Palo Alto, California, her dogs, cats, and many dear friends.

Helga will be laid to rest, at a later date, next to her beloved husband in the Fort Leonard Wood Post Cemetery, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
