Jack Lee Wilson, age 87, of Crocker, was born on December 11, 1935, at Crocker, a son of Dorsey Raymond Wilson and Florence Edna Hedrick and departed this life at 10:45 p.m., Thursday, June 8, 2023 in the Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.

Mr. Wilson was united in marriage at Crocker to Linda Gail Green, who preceded him in death on September 16, 2013. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Joann Doyle on May 8, 2020 and a nephew, Gary Doyle on December 29, 2014.

Mr. Wilson was a 1953 graduate of Crocker High School. He was baptized later in life and at the time of his passing was a member of the Crocker Christian Church. He had worked for MSD Water Treatment in St. Louis. He tested water all over the city to include the Mississippi river, before retiring in 1999. He enjoyed coin collecting, hunting, fishing and camping.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Wilson include: his daughters and sons-in-law, Roxanne "Roxy" Wilson, Springfield; Angie Noble and her husband, Karl, Florissant and Holly Shy and her husband, Kent, Navarre, Florida; his grandchildren, Kyle Shy and his wife, Lindsay; Taylor Shy and Mason Shy and his fiancé, Brooke Coomes; his great-grandchild, Zia and expecting Everleigh to make her appearance some time this month; his nephew, Todd (Susie) Doyle; and many cousins and other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held for Mr. Wilson from 11 a.m. until 12 noon with his funeral at 12 noon, all on Friday, June 16, 2023 in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Crocker with Larry Richardson, Rolla officiating.

Interment will be in the Crocker Cemetery under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.
