James Virgil "Jim" Hall, of Dixon, was born on November 29, 1952, at Houston, Missouri, a son of James Robert and Betty Lou (Shelton) Hall, and departed this life at 2:53 p.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at his residence in Dixon. Jim had attained the age of 60 years, 11 months, and 28 days.
Jim was united in marriage on September 3, 1986, in Miller County, to Jackie Sue Cochran. He was preceded in death by his mother in January of 2004 and one sister, Janet Lee Venable in 2004.
Jim had worked as a central office technician for Windstream Communications, retiring in 2011. He loved to hunt, fish, golf, ride motorcycles and loved being with his family.
Those left to mourn the passing of Jim include: his wife, Jackie S. Hall, Dixon; his father, James Robert Hall, Houston, Missouri; three daughters and three sons-in-law, Amy and Jimmy Vineyard and Amber and Rusty Asberry, all of Dixon; and Betty Hall and Patrick Daily, Jr., Columbia; three grandchildren, Gavin Vineyard, Addyson Vineyard and Tanner Asberry; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial gathering was held for Jim from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Monday, December 2, 2013, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon.
All arrangements were under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Dixon.
