Obituary

Jean Patricia Moser "Ms. Jean", of Crocker, was born on April 4, 1949, at Montreal, Quebec, Canada, a daughter of Wilfred and Lily (Griffith) Mann, and departed this life at 8:05 a.m., Sunday, April 26, 2015, at her residence near Crocker. Mrs. Moser had attained the age of 66 years and 22 days.

Mrs. Moser was united in marriage on June 10, 2000, at Crocker, to Charles Wayne Moser. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lily Mann; her father-in-law, Bud Vlach; mother-in-law, Betty Vlach and one sister-in-law, Sandra Mann.

Mrs. Moser had worked as a paraprofessional for the Crocker R-2 Schools for over 22 years, retiring in 2012. She enjoyed shopping, dancing, fishing, watching figure skating on TV, snow, playing and singing Christmas Carols in July; and most of all being with her family and friends.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Moser include: her husband, Chuck Moser, Crocker; her father, Wilfred Mann, Brockville, Ontario; two daughters and one son-in-law, Stephanie and Jason Wiorek and Heather Failing, all of Crocker; one brother, Roy Mann, Cobourg, Ontario; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Steve Phelan, Oakville, Ontario; three granddaughters, Courtney, Emily and Kimberly; one grandson, Kaaylob, all of Crocker; two nieces, Krista Creighton, Courtice, Ontario and Cindy Fee, Ottawa, Ontario; one nephew, Geoff Phelan, Glasgow, Scotland; one great niece, Charlotte Fee; two great nephews, James Fee and Brody Phelan; one adopted daughter, Tracy; one adopted son, BJ; her wonderful and awesome best friend, Dawn Pierce; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Moser at 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2015, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Crocker, with Pastor Doug Jacobson, Eureka Baptist Church, Richland, officiating.

Honorary pallbearers for Mrs. Moser were Roy Mann, Steve Phelan, Geoffrey Phelan, Jason Wiorek, John Fee, Sean Creighton, Jerry Helms, B.J. Pierce and Rocky Chadbourne.

Memorial contributions are suggested per the wishes of the family with envelopes available at the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.
