Jeanette Yvonne (Jeannie King) Thompson, 64, of St. James, was born on February 15, 1958 in Marshfield, a daughter of William and Dorothy (Jones) King and departed this life on Thursday, June 9, 2022 in the Cedar Pointe Nursing Home, Rolla.

Jeannie was a member of the Amazing Grace Church of Cuba and had worked as a certified nurses aid for over thirty years for Maries Manor and the Hermann Hospital. She enjoyed being with her family and friends, riding the Harley with Kerry and collecting John Deere.

Those left to mourn the passing of Jeannie include: her children, Jennifer King, St. James and Joni (Jimmy) Ellis, Owensville; her significant other, Kerry Laney, St. James; five grandchildren, Maci, Jordan (Kailee), Jace (Bri), Corissa (Caleb) and Pazelee; several great-grandchildren; her siblings, Mike King and Mark King, both of Dixon; Jason (Christina) King, Cuba and Misty (Bobby) Gaskins, Vienna; and many other relatives and friends.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy King; an infant brother, Thomas King and Carlos King; her sister, Joyce Patrick and a son-in-law, Donnie Botkin.

The family will host a memorial gathering from 12 noon until 4 p.m., Saturday, June 18, 2022 in the American Legion Hall, Dixon.
