Jessie Dan Mooneyham, of Crocker, was born on March 18, 1989, at Osage Beach, a son of Leslie Dan Mooneyham and Cheryl Marie (Vanburan) Gately , and departed this life Friday, November 9, 2012, at his residence near Crocker. Jessie had attained the age of 23 years, 7 months and 21 days.

Jessie was employed as a cook at Wobbly Boots at Lake of the Ozarks. He was an avid computer whiz and prankster, enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking, playing video games, and spending time with his daughter and family.

Those left to mourn the passing of Jessie include: his daughter, "Sassy" Serenity Rose Marie Mooneyham of Osage Beach; his mother, Cheryl Gately of Crocker; his father and stepmother, Leslie and J.J. Mooneyham of Wheatland; one brother, Michael Allen of Crocker; three sisters, Cindy Griffin of Swedeborg, Janna Mooneyham and Junee Mooneyham; step-brothers and step-sisters, Janelle Maples, Joshua Sturgeon, Jenna Utley, Jessica Sturgeon, Jodie Burson, Anthony Sturgeon, Jasmine Mooneyham, Jerikah Mooneyham, and Jaylin Mooneyham; his companion and the mother of his daughter, Emily Stone of Osage Beach; nephews and nieces, Cody, Gabe, Benny, Zoie, Samson, Ziva and Abagail; and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial gathering and time of remembrance was held for Jessie from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., with the memorial service at 3:00 p.m., on Saturday, November 17, 2012, with Bro. Bobby Fletcher officiating.
