Joann Doyle, of Crocker, was born on August 20, 1940, at Crocker, a daughter of Dorsey and Florence Edna (Hedrick) Wilson and departed this life at 12:25 a.m., Friday, May8, 2020 in the Dixon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dixon. Mrs. Doyle had been in failing health and had attained the age of 79 years, 8 months, and 18 days.

Mrs. Doyle was united in marriage on August 11, 1956, at Jerseyville, Illinois to Bobby Gene Doyle and to this union, two sons were born. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 8, 1984; one son, Gary Doyle on December 28, 2014; her father, Dorsey; her mother, Florence; and two grandsons, Kenny Lee Doyle and Bobby Doyle.

Mrs. Doyle was a member of the Christian Church. She had worked in housekeeping for John Knox Village as well as being a loving and devoted wife and mother.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Doyle include: her son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Susie Doyle, Crocker; five grandchildren, Jamey Becker, John Doyle, Joe Doyle, Starlet Thomas and Todd Doyle, Jr.; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Jack Wilson, Crocker and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held for Mrs. Doyle at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2020 in the Crocker Cemetery with Pastor Doug Jacobson, Eureka Baptist Church, Richland, officiating.
