Joe Roy Krouse, of Crocker, was born on February 18, 1957, at Lebanon a son of Roy Henry and Dorothy Maxine (Claiborn) Krouse and departed this life at 2:15 p.m., Thursday, December 24, 2020 in the Rolla Health and Rehabilitation Center, Rolla. Joe had attained the age of 63 years, 10 months and 6 days.

Joe was a Crocker High School graduate and a member of the Crocker Presbyterian Church. He had worked at H & L Super Market for most of his working life and had been on the Board of Directors for Gascosage Electric Coop and the Bank of Crocker. He enjoyed being on the farm, gardening, his flowers and fishing.

Those left to mourn the passing of Joe include: his mother, Dorothy Krouse, Crocker; his sister, Nancy Krouse, Austin, Minnesota; uncles, Bill Claiborn and Jerry Claiborn; aunts, Joyce Humphrey and Pauline Case; his dog, Muffin; and many other relatives and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, Roy on July 21, 1992.

Visitation from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. with his funeral service at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Crocker with Bro. Bill Claiborn, Hilltop Church, Crocker officiating.

Interment will be in the Crocker Cemetery under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker. Relatives and friends served as pallbearers for Joe.

Memorials are suggested by the family to the Crocker Presbyterian Church or the Loving Paws Animal Shelter, Crocker with envelopes available at the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.
